Cisco Connect in Kazakhstan is the event of the year for networking professionals from all over the country. Cisco Connect is a unique conference that brings together partners, customers and engineers to see and discover new solutions and architectures of Cisco and its partners. This year the conference took place in Almaty on February 25-26, gathering IT specialists not only from Kazakhstan but from many other countries in this region, which raises this event to a multicultural level.
The total number of unique Cisco Connect attendees this year was 837 including 306 who took part in the Cisco Connect Virtual Day.
The overall satisfaction rate is 4,5 .

Cisco Demo Zone
The Cisco Connect exhibition area allowed Cisco Specialists to demonstrate the latest solutions of great interest in Kazakhstan and provided the audience with demo sessions and practical seminars.
VIRTUAL DAY at Cisco Connect
On Virtual Day, a traditional addition to the main event that is organized by Cisco learning partners, a series of presentations and demonstrations were held. There were 306 participants of this year’s Virtual Day.
Technological tracks.
Cisco Connect agenda consisted of more than 50 technical sessions covering the topics:

- Telepresence and video

On the first day of the conference, the Virtual Tour to Skolkovo Technology Center took place and was a great success.

This year’s conference was attended by a record number of 24 journalists, most of whom represented a record number of 14 media partners.
Cisco arranged a press conference on BYOD, hosted by BDM Andrey Kharitonov and Svetlana and SE Manager Evgeny Zhembrovsky, plus Den Sullivan’s one-on-one with Computerworld Kazakhstan and Andrey Kharitonov’s interview with Business & Government magazine.
As a result, the conference has already received more press coverage by Kazakhstan-based media than ever before.
